The Model TA Belt Alignment Switch, aka Conveyor Belt Drift Switch, for a belt conveyor is part of CCC’s Conveyor Safety System™ product line. This misalignment switch is a safety and monitoring control that indicates when a conveyor belt has drifted, ie, wandered off-center to a dangerous condition. The switch can be wired for both an alarm signal and a conveyor system shutdown. The TA Switch saves the time, money, and labor required to replace a damaged conveyor belt. Designed to be installed in pairs for full belt coverage on both sides. NEED TO KNOWNo less than four alignment controls should be installed on each conveyor, one on each side of the belt near the head and tail pulleys. For longer conveyors, we recommend an additional pair every 250'-300'.
