Wing pulleys are a great choice if you need a pulley with self-cleaning action that either ejects material from the sides to combat lodging or recirculates it onto the belt.

The Herringbone Wing^® Pulley was designed with extreme wing angles of up to 45° for applications in which conventional wings would suffer from wing folding and material lodging. The angle of the wings uses the rotation of the pulley to eject material out of the sides of the pulley, rather than recirculating it.

Other wing pulleys, such as the Spiral and Spiral Plus and Mine Duty Wing Pulleys keep constant contact with the belt, in order to reduce excessive noise and vibration. While Grain Herringbone and Boot Herringbone gently and efficiently transport grain.
