Overview
Monitor's Silo Patrol SE Inventory Management System is a cable-based smart level sensor designed for harsh and dynamic conditions. It features advanced sensors, various operator interfaces, auxiliary outputs, and unique remote/vendor managed inventory solutions. The system reliably monitors materials in bins, silos, and tanks up to 150 feet high, handling powders, granules, slurries, and liquids. The core of the system, the Model SMU (Silo Monitoring Unit), features a durable, maintenance-free design with no need for field adjustments. It supports RS-485 “smart” communications with wireless Bluetooth setup, Modbus connectivity, and a 4-20mA analog output. The SMU can interface with the HMI2 Operator Interface Console or SiloTrack PC-based software, managing up to 128 sensors.
